Aromatherapy for wellbeing in Neurodiversity and Mental Health

So much more than

just a nice smell!

Aromatherapy can be really useful in helping with symptom management including:

  • Encouraging relaxation
  • Improving stress relief
  • Managing anxiety
  • Supporting depression
  • Enhancing self-esteem
  • Increasing focus
  • Relieving overwhelm
  • Aiding better sleep

Aromatherapy should never be used as an alternative to medical treatment. Please always ask your Doctor first about any health concerns.

The Sarianchi Story

Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm a passionate advocate for wellbeing in  neurodiversity and mental health. I got my ADHD diagnosis in my 40s and (after speaking with my GP) realised just how helpful I found my passion for essential oils in managing my symptoms such as anxiety, difficulties with focus, lack of self confidence and effectively managing stress.

I founded Sarianchi in 2024 as a community interest company (CIC) with the aim of making Aromatherapy more accessible by providing subsidised treatments for people with neurodiversity and/or mental health conditions, and also by creating a neurodivergent-specific evidence base of essential oil benefits through case study research.

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the ancient art and science of blending naturally extracted essential oils to balance, harmonise and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. Essential oils are extracted from aromatic plants, with each essential oil having its own unique healing properties. Originating from herbal medicine, aromatherapy initially involved only the medicinal use of aromatic substances. However, as the practice of aromatherapy has progressed, it has adopted a more holistic approach encompassing the whole of a person’s health, both mental and physical, using a variety of methods of application.

I offer 3 different types of Aromatherapy treatments:

Massage

An essential oil blend is created for your specific needs and applied in a carrier oil directly to your skin through light-touch massage. Treatment body areas include:

  • Full body
  • Head & face
  • Neck and shoulders
  • Hands and arms
  • Back
  • Feet and legs
  • (optional salt soak)

"Re-3" Grounding practice

(no physical contact)

An essential oil blend is created for your specific needs and placed into a diffuser for you to inhale during a tailored grounding practice session, supporting you to:

  • re-balance
  • re-focus
  • re-energise

A great treatment for people who don't like to be touched.

Self-administer Treatments

An essential oil blend is created for your specific needs in the formulation of your choice, to use (with instructions) at home, at work or anywhere you need!

  • Inhaler ("sniffy") sticks
  • Rollerball bottles
  • Balms, creams & butters
  • Mist sprays
  • Bath oils
  • Salt soaks
  • Soaps
  • Hair oils
  • Diffuser / burner oils
  • Candles

How much does it cost?

I charge a flat rate of £25 for a 1 hour appointment.

During your appointment you can have one, or a combination of the treatment types above (please note for a full body massage you will need to book 2 adjacent appointments).

You must attend a (free of charge) health consultation prior to any treatment, either in-person or via video call. This is to ensure suitability of treatment for you and to mitigate any contraindications.

If you have a diagnosis of neurodiversity and/or mental health, or if you are on a diagnosis pathway, then please ask about my subsidised treatment availability.

Discounts are available for NHS, Social Care & Emergency Service workers, Teachers, and Family Carers.

Employers please ask about my staff wellbeing packages.
